You come here for the great food. Schermahorns is an institution, and like any good seafood shack on the coast you can get a great meat - and not just fried food. Great food, good portions and good prices. We had the twin lobsters, Cajun shrimp wrap, stuffed haddock, kids hot dog and kids cheese pizza. Every single one was a hit with who ordered it, and it was just right. When you enter the restaurant you just order with the cashier at the front, pay and take a number to your table. A short time later someone will bring your food. As a hidden bonus, there is a old Pac Man game in the back. Bring 2 quarters for a play

Great food with good portion sizes, good service, atmosphere was very ocean/harbor oriented. The place could have used a little TLC, but overall very happy with stopping here! I'll be back next time I'm in the area!

We have stopped many times in the way to our boat at the Oxbow Marina for a quick to-go sandwich/wrap. The grilled tuna wrap is fabulous. We just got lobsters for a Thanksgiving treat. Very tender and sweet. As good as those we have purchased off the boats in Point Judith / Galilee, RI, for many years. This restaurant is very busy, so we recommend calling your order in. Highly recommend that you give it a try!

Got lunch, lobster roll and clam strips. The fries were great too and very affordable. 25$ for two of us to eat.

I guess is on what is ordered. I ordered the scrod with breadcrumbs and was disappointed. Alitte on the dry side and I expected being served different. Now on the other day. My mother ordered the fish and chips and WOW, delicious. The staff is great. Go and you be the judge. Order the fish and chips, won't be disappointed.
